      Funding conservation

Whether you plan to install a rain garden, seal an old well, update your septic system, plant native grasses, convert pastureland or repair an eroding bank of a stream that runs through your property, the Scott Soil and Water Conservation District can connect you with possible matching dollars to make these and other projects possible – working with local watershed partners and cities, Scott County, the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources, the USDA and others.

If interested in pursuing a project that will positively affect soil and water resources on your land in Scott County, please contact the Scott SWCD office. Our staff will guide you through this process and answer any questions you may have.
